Data controller

Develofi, LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, legal@develofi.com, controls the personal information collected through Race.Radio.

What we collect

Account details: email address, sign-in records, and role on each race (organizer, volunteer, participant).

Runner roster data uploaded by organizers: name, bib number, email, wave, age group, and roster join codes.

Participant data: live GPS location while on course, pace, distance, finish times and results, display preferences, and device push tokens.

Voice data: voice recordings uploaded for voice cloning and organizer-supplied voice service keys (stored encrypted).

Lead and waiting-list data: name, organization, email, optional phone number, and demo usage.

Content: announcements, presets, course routes and markers, and safety acknowledgements.

Usage and device data: pages viewed, listener counts, browser and device type, IP address, diagnostics logs, cookies, and analytics.

How we use and share data

We use data to run races, play announcements, show live maps and results, send sign-in codes, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

We share data with service providers that host and run the service: our cloud hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, Mapbox for maps, and analytics providers.

AI providers: ElevenLabs (text-to-speech and voice cloning). Announcement text and voice samples you submit may be sent to them for processing.

Location is shown to others only while a participant is on course; off-course positions are discarded.

Retention and security

We keep data while your account or race is active and as needed for results history, legal obligations, and dispute resolution, then delete or anonymize it. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level permissions to protect data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and opt out of marketing, by emailing legal@develofi.com. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of optional analytics cookies.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know, delete, and correct personal information, and may not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information.

Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Data breach notice

If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by the Florida Information Protection Act and other applicable law.
